Day 1: Arrive in Belize
You are personally greeted at the Belize International Airport by a representative of Adventures in Belize.
Your representative will direct you over to the local airline desk where you will board your flight to Punta
Gorda town. At the Punta Gorda airport you will be met by a representative of Seafront Inn who will drive you
to the resort. Your accommodations are in a double room. Dinner that evening will be at Emory's Restaurant.
Day 2: Full Day of Fishing
Full Breakfast at the Inn. Your first day begins with a full day of fishing at the Port Honduras Marine
Reserve with box lunch and park fees included. Port Honduras Marine Reserve lies just north of Punta Gorda
Town. Recently declared a protected area in January 2000, the reserve encompasses 847 square kilometers of
coastal Caribbean Sea. The reserve starts from the coastline, where seven jungle-lined rivers flow to the
basin in estuarine conditions, out to fully saline areas of reefs and Cayes. This area is one of the riches
fishing fields in the area of Toledo. You return to the Inn in the late afternoon. Dinner will be at Marenco's
Ice Cream Parlor in town.
Day 3: Full Day of Fishing
Full Breakfast at the Inn. Your second full day fishing trip is at Punta Ycaco Lagoon. This area is located
within the Paynes Creek National Park and Punta Ycacos Lagoon is increasingly used for sports fishing. Lunch
and park fees are included Marine Reserve. You then return to the Inn in late afternoon. Dinner that evening
at Marians' Cafe in town.
Day 4: Full Day of Fishing
Full Breakfast at the Inn. A third full day fishing trip is at Sapodilla Cayes Marine Reserve, which is located
about 40 miles from Punta Gorda Town. The outer portion of the reserve is characterized by shallow water reefs,
which occur as a fringe around the cayes. The outer reefs support a wide variety of fish Often, large schools of
jacks or spadefish will feed just off the outer slope. Nearer the bottom, angelfish, parrotfish and snappers begin
to dominate. The waters are often spectacularly clear as water from the Caribbean washes over and through the reef
cuts. this area o Cayes is one of the most beautiful in Belize. Lunch and park fees are included. You return late
in the afternoon to the Inn. Dinner that evening is at Grace's Restaurant in town.
Day 5: Departure
Full Breakfast at the Inn, check out and ground transfers from the
Seafront Inn into town where you will be taken to the
airport for your flight from Punta Gorda town to your next exciting destination in Belize!
