Five Things You Need to Know
1. Couples must be in Belize for 3 full days prior to applying for a marriage license.
2. A 24 hour license application is available for those who are anxious to tie the knot on any given day – but certain rules apply*
3. No blood test is required and couples must be over the age of 18.
4. Most resorts/hotels have the ability to host a wedding – Let us know what you have in mind and our agents are not only capable but happy to make a recommendation for either a beach or rainforest event.
5. You CAN marry at a Mayan Ruin – a few rules apply.

Weather & Venues
We all agree that the best times to get hitched in Belize is from February to Late May; gorgeous weather in the region makes for sunny skies and warm breezes. Belize does have a rainy season from June to November but weddings can also be held year round with a number of various indoor or covered arrangements possible.
